Where to Dine The fourth annual Long Island Restaurant WeekSM will launch on Sunday, November 7th through Sunday, November 14th, 2010. For one week, Sunday to Sunday, all participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 per person all night, except Saturday, when it will only be available until 7 p.m. Each restaurant offers its own unique menu. Organized by WordHampton Public Relations, one of Long Island's top hospitality PR firms, Long Island Restaurant Week is designed to make dining out at local restaurants even more attractive. Restaurateurs give new and existing patrons the chance to experience their cuisine, décor and service at bargain prices once a year with a view to inspiring return dining year-round. The inspiration for this event came from the successful Hamptons Restaurant Week that runs annually on the East End of Long Island every March. The joint regional marketing campaign was designated to garner positive publicity and additional business in the off-season.
